Pugsley Full Coverage Wooden Fenders

THESE ARE THE PROTOTPYES.  The process has been perfected and are ready for your orders.  Call for color and wood choices.  We also have brass hardware available.  The production fenders will have a longer (more coverage) front.  We installed them yesterday and immediately started to hit the snow piles in my brother yard...I need to remember to pull that front wheel up when hitting a snow bank as I pulled a header with the only full wooden fender on a Surly Pugsley in the world!  Oops.  Solid installation...no rattles.  Notice that there is little or no clearance for a front derailleur which could be an issue with people.  I have noticed that the Salsa Mukluk has a little more clearance.

Jim wins again but his physical prowis wasn't what won him "Most beautiful" fender installation.  His choice of a Masi Speciale CX  from  30th Century Bicycle and wood choice did.  Many people have commented on the color combinations that Jim chose for his touring bike and fender choice.  All that's needed is his Old Man Mountain rack and he's ready for his spring Tenn. tour.  Please send some scenic pics next week and I'll get them posted.  Thanks for the purchase!

Wide Wooden Fenders...not a problem...

Sorry it's been so long since the last update. Many process improvements have been on going in order to make a wider range of widths look perfect. This is literally hot off the press...drool away.   30mm on up...

This is the prototype set that will be installed on our Surly Pugsley and tested out in the spring muck...bring it on!

Kent Park MK Fender Winner!
