The production fenders will have a longer (more coverage) front. We installed them yesterday and immediately started to hit the snow piles in my brother yard...I need to remember to pull that front wheel up when hitting a snow bank as I pulled a header with the only full wooden fender on a Surly Pugsley in the world! Oops. Solid installation...no rattles. Notice that there is little or no clearance for a front derailleur which could be an issue with people. I have noticed that the Salsa Mukluk has a little more clearance.
